Professionals for the environment, thinking nature is more important
Kukin Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995, at a time when there were wide concerns on environment destruction and resource depletion, and there was an urgency to protect the environment for future generations, and to develop and provide alternative energies. Such moves became the basis of the company to venture into the professional environment protection business. Later, the company acquired an incineration company, Taeheung Environment, located in Gumi, Gyeongsangbukdo, and, in 2003, it built a landfill business in two national industrial complexes in Gunsan, Jeonrabukdo, which was established as a specialized environment. A heat recycling system, instead of simply burning and burying wastes, was introduced, and resources were recycled. Aggressive investments on facilities led to a high-tech pollution prevention system to limit secondary pollution and provide a pleasant environment for the people.
High-tech facilities help the company become environment-friendly
Kukin Industrial Co., Ltd., in a reaction to environment-related regulations that increase every day, is building new incineration facilities and environment-friendly landfills. We are doing our best to install a quick waste disposal system by introducing a one-stop cleaning system from collection, transportation, and disposal. Facilities include three incineration buildings (190 tons/day) for regular business wastes and designated wastes, and landfills of about 7 million ㎥ (100,000 pyung). In particular, we have built a new environment-friendly business model for the incineration area, providing heat from incineration to steam since 2006 to encourage resource recycling and create alternative energy. We have been chosen as an excellent business for Clean SYS, and received the Minister of the Environment Award and other governmental citations for contributing to national energy policies.

Middle-level waste disposal business
We collect regular wastes and designated wastes from businesses and incinerate them as a middle-level waste disposal business.
Waste final-level disposal business
We dispose wastes in landfills in Gunsan, Waegwan, and Andong. These include various wastes and construction waste, landfill waste from unsanitary landfills, and other waste outside designated categories from businesses.
New recycled energy
We are operating an environment-friendly business to lessen air pollution and energy use by creating high-temperature and pressure steam from freezing the heat from waste incineration in water-pipe boilers and providing it to local businesses and homes.
